“DEVASTATING AND overwhelming.” Those are the conditions in the ancient and once-great metropolis of Aleppo, according to the head of delegation for the International Committee of the Red Cross, Marianne Gasser, who was in the Syrian city recently.
“We hear that dozens of civilians are being killed every day and scores more injured from shells, mortars and rockets,” Ms. Gasser said. “The bombing is constant. The violence is threatening hundreds of thousands of people’s lives, homes and livelihoods.”

Odds are it’s Assad’s opposition doing it, and those are the ones Obama supports.
I find it hard to believe Assad is using chemical weapons. It is way too easy to check. He denies it. There was NVER any trouble in Syria, until Odumbo’s and HilLIARy’s “Arab Spring” and then suddenly he had to go, for some reason.
And does hilLIARy’s use ISIS or ISIL?
The media is yet to call out Obama for using that more-inclusive-territory term.
He is th ONLY one using it, as far as I know, and it does not seem to have caught on. Stupid Kerry with ‘daesh’ too...

Non-radical civilians are long gone from eastern Aleppo. Those remaining have cast their lot with the US-backed beheaders.
Clinton and Obama should have done what the american public overwhelming wanted in the first place. They should not have given our tax dollar weapons to those thugs.

They like the principle, but they don’t like the execution. Regime change in Syria (i.e., Assad’s downfall) hasn’t happened. The Washington Post would like Obama to adopt Hillary’s prescription and bomb Damascus and destroy Assad’s military capacity (which, they would have you believe, is at the root of all the slaughter). Then, they figure, the Obama Administration can achieve its objective of establishing a Salafist state in eastern Syria, with a Muslim Brotherhood stooge as its figurehead.
I saw Luke Skywalker blow up the death star too. It’s all bullcrap. I couldn’t care less about Aleppo, except to hope the Syrian Army crushes our jihadi allies.
I notice silence from the UN about ISIS/Al Nusra/Al Crappa/Ali baba/FSA areas no matter what they do. Drown, burn, crucify, burn in acid....not a peep.
But attack the rebels and its a humanitarian catastrophe.
Politics aside, Aleppo is one of the most ancient cities in the world, with successive civilizations building it up (and tearing it down). The recent civil war has devastated the archaelogical artifacts, and ruins.
I am not a friend of the current civilization which rules Aleppo. But the civil war has devastated this historic city, and it is a tragic loss. If you are interested, here is a nice link to its history:

When I have toured Greece I have always wondered what turned the huge temples and cities into just a few stones. The answer has been war, as well as invading armies which did not respect the current religion, either tearing down the temples or turning them into mosques (in Greece’ case).
We have so much to learn from the ancients, yet it is often difficult to reconstruct their cities.
I always wanted to visit Aleppo, but now it appears there is not much left.

At one time the home of a thriving Christian community, it was Syria's largest.
But not anymore.
Hussein Obama, America's FIRST Muslim President, is working to a plan that destabilizes or even eliminates governments to hand the countries over to Muslim terrorists.
In Egypt, Hussein Obama backed the Muslim Brotherhood. Unfortunately for Hussein, the Egyptians threw the Brotherhood out.
In Libya, Hussein and useful idiot HIllary were arming "rebels" to overthrow the Libyian gov't. Who were the "rebels?" Obama friendly groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Quaeda, ISIS, those kind of guys.
And that brings up Benghazi. What happened there? Seems like Ambassador Stevens and Hillary were collecting US weapons to be shipped to Syria but that didn't work out so well. Why did Hussein lie about with holding US military from defeating the terrorist attack? Hussein was NOT going to let the military kill Muslims when he thought he could get away with blocking the counterattaack.
As most know, the POTUS is the only one who can authorize the miltary to enter a foreign country. IT was Hussein Obaam lying about Benghazi, useful idiot Hillary Clinton may still NOT get it.
Syria? Hussein is still arming Muslim terrorists.
What the US government and the presstitutes tells us about the "Arab Spring", Benghazi, Syria...makes no sense. Recognizing Hussein is working to destroy and enslave the west in an Islamic hell makes perfect sense. That is, if you think about it for even a little while.
