According to Adweek’s Scoreboard, The Kelly File, hosted by Fox News personality Megyn Kelly, has been in a tight competition for ratings with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.
Among the 25-54 age demographic, The Rachel Maddow Show nearly tied Kelly in total viewership Wednesday, with 400,000 viewers to Kelly’s 401,000. This is third time in the month of August where Maddow has either tied or surpassed Kelly among the 25-54 age bracket.
The Fox News Channel show still overtook Maddow in overall viewers with 500,000, but according to Breitbart, the 25-54 demographic is particularly important because of its high value to advertisers.
Although the close competition comes while Kelly is taking time off as host for vacation, The Kelly File far surpassed Maddow’s show while Kelly was on vacation this time last year.

When Rachel MadCow is competitive with you, that is truly terrible news. Perhaps Megyn will stay on permanent vacation.
The Kelly File is Highly Rated? Could it be she hasn’t been on the show for over two weeks?
They have had a lot of good people filling in for her.
I thought I remember years ago O Reilly bragging about millions of viewers per night compared to MSNBCs pathetic 100,000 viewers for Chris Matthews. I know BOR is different time slot but I would have figured Megyn Kelly was getting millions too since she is in the sweet time slot of 9pm-10pm

There are 95 MILLION unemployable people at home watching daytime TV...though for some reason, they have access to cable and dish, while I do not.

Apparently these one-word sentences are meant to convey drama, urgency, etc.
Right or left, can we admit that Megyn Kelly was chosen on the basis of being a dolly bird and despite any professional or personal aptitude her glammed up nightly persona is Charlie’s Angels under the rubric of news?
I literally detest MyGYN, the anti Trump whore. As Trump rises into a 50 state victory , kelly gets annihilated and removed from our screen. She is an establishment subversive anti Trump. But I see great hope in Fox. Since Ailes was run off brutally, notice that fox is covering Trumps awesome speeches in full ( no breaks) . The next to go is that Chris Stirewalt and dana FeRINO. These people are enemy!!Reject them totally.

Exactly - back in the primaries when she kept spouting “IOWA” in her annoying clipped tone dripping with drama I thought she had Tourette’s or something. Cannot watch her.
I don’t remember her being that bad when she burst on the scene, then her ego took over.
Me-Again would be a great fit for CNN.

The network (FOX) makes the stars. The stars do not make the network.
No matter who they put in at the 9pm spot, if they’re clear, coherent and conservative they will do well.
Any number of other hosts would do just as good as she does and draw the same numbers.
Oh my, how the mighty has fallen.
Who cares, neither Kelly nor Madcow are worth listening to. But I do wonder how much it has to do with her constant anti-Trump rhetoric or Ailes being gone.
