Hillary's Secret Kremlin Connection Quickly Unraveling
Observer Politics ^ | August 25, 2016 | John Schneider

Recent headlines have brought attention to the seedier side of Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state during President Obama’s first term. This scheme, which gives every appearance of being about pay-for-play, solicited donations from foreign big-shots in exchange for access to the boss of American foreign policy.

I’ll leave to others to assess the legality of this shady business—for now it’s the national security implications we need to discuss. It’s a big deal when the person who’s possibly our next president—and if polls are accurate, she probably will be—has sold access to foreign bidders before taking the oath of office. It’s especially worrisome when some of those foreigners are in Moscow.

The polls aren’t right and she is not going to be the next President.

“The polls aren’t right and she is not going to be the next President.”

Isn't it interesting how a media-created meme circulates? The polls are now neck in neck, with Trump ahead in some, and with a few outliers (Quinnipiac and Reuters) that show her with a significant lead (albeit with Reuters ‘assigning’ likely voting preferences to undecideds).

I hate to be a pedant, but it’s interesting how spoken speech sometimes get convoluted with written speech and we get to see silly phrases like “neck in neck” rather than “neck and neck”.

You’re absolutely right, and I didn’t even notice how silly that phrase was. Thanks!

This is because we generally speak our language transparently, saying X because it means Y without knowing or thinking about how X came to mean Y. When we write quickly, we tend to transcribe the sounds of what we say, and somehow hope the spell checker will catch our errors. I cringe at some of the errors in my own FR posts.

Much like the Mafia moving into legitimate business fronts over time the xlintonista regime’s scam of personally profiting from selling government access & secrets has also evolved.

The xlintonista regime has grown from the days when foreign agents were walking in the white house carrrying grocery bags full of money orders to today’s sophisticated “charitable” clinton foundation.

The foundation scam is sure to explode-—all the opportunistic politicians are chomping at the bit seeing the Clintons got filthy rich using it.

It must be stopped——we need laws banning politician foundations....amend the Constitution if necessary.

Interesting but I don’t know if it explains the origins of such things as, “I COULD care less” when what is meant is the exact opposite. I seem to see more and more of people writing things that meant the exact opposite of what they want to convey.

A few weeks ago there were news stories about how the polls were going to re-calculate their canvasing methods.

The next week Hellary had her poll bounce. They did it to coincide with the end of the Democratic convention so it wouldn’t be so noticeable.
