France's Interior Minister is mounting a bid to unite Muslims and non-Muslims in France as tensions rise following the 'Burkini ban'

France’s interior minister has said the country is at war with an enemy trying to pit Muslims against non-Muslims.

Bernard Cazeneuve called for urgent action to create a strong bond between the nation and citizens of the Islamic faith in response.

He also said it was crucial to tailor the religion to the values of secular France, “a pillar of the republic.”

He also contended that humiliating Muslims “has facilitated the work of Daesh (ISIS) recruiters” of vulnerable Muslim youth.

Delusional, but quite a common delusion among Western Leftists. In reality, the success of ISIS and other jihadi recruitment has been a direct result of Western appeasement of said jihadis. Of our weakness. Of the Left's constant navel-gazing and America/West-blaming.

After every terror attack, jihadis see the West becoming more and more accommodating toward Moslems. They (rightly) see it as weakness, and are thus encouraged to continue their jihadi ways. This prog frog Cazeneuve and his fellow-travelers just can't seem to grasp this.

Progs also ignore the fact that the Koran commands Moslems to wage war against and subjugate infidels (nonbelievers) everywhere, with no exception made for infidels who sing kumbaya and proudly display "Refugees Welcome!" banners.

You miss the point. The so-called Moslems who just want to be left in peace are not really Moslems because they don’t take their Koranic imperatives seriously. They’re secular, for all intents and purposes. They’re not “moderate.” And they’re not nearly enough of them. And perhaps most importantly, they rarely publicly speak out against jihadis.
