First Varney makes the statement that we are witnessing a new and improved Trump who is looking more "presidential" and it is a "winning" strategy.
What he is really saying is that Trump will be the next president and this election is all but over.
Second, Voight points out that when people meet Trump they can't help but like him. He is very charismatic. Compare that to Hillary and how she relates to people. Voight was basically saying that Trump wins people over when they meet him.
Trump in a landslide.
“Trump in a landslide.”
Iirc, the official term is Trumpslide. That’s not to be confused with Trumpicide, which is what the left is doing to itself.
I hope Cankles is still alive and still the candidate on November 8th.
I want to see her go down in the most humiliating landslide defeat in history, and I want her to live for a long time afterward in her hospital wing raging about it.
I will say that I now have faith that he might actually be running for office. Everything, up until recently, could have explained by him still being a plant for Clinton.
Trump has the same intangibles as Ronald Reagan. He is likable and congenial, and it transcends the media’s ability to create poison.
He is pragmatic and thinks on his feet. And he has some achievable goals should he obtain power.
But if he wins, the tantrum the media will throw will be the equivalent of a hurricane. Everything they ignore now will be blamed on Trump. They blamed Bush for Katrina. Wait until you see what they blame on Trump.
Terrific interview. Honestly one of the better testimonials to Trump’s character I’ve seen yet
Voight’s portrayal as Mickey Donovan is great, btw.
“in on the existence of conservatives in Hollywood”
We’re here. Had one long meeting at a studio where lots of Bernie stickers litter the office this morning. One exec said “ We dont allow Trumpers into this office. Just kidding.” The guy who’s actually Mexican said “you dont need to include politics with business’ Then I chimed in “I agree. This is business, gentlemen”.
What I was REALLY thinking/should have said to the Dem assclown was “STFU you POS lib. You’ll be crying your ass out after November when Trump is prez.”
I’ve been getting a bit chapped at the “new Trump” stuff.
It’s the same Trump. He went out as he did at first to draw in those who’ve given up on the entire electoral process. Said it like he saw it and called like it needed to be called.
Now Trump is working another part of the electorate.
There’s no way Trump had the successes he had in business if he was a one trick pony in his method of dealing with people or presenting himself.
