I have a long-winded but I think accurate answer for you. I am a Conservative Jew so what I have to say, I think, is pretty accurate.
Ever since Abraham rejected idolatry, some 5,000 years ago, Jews have been “Revolutionary”, never accepting the status quo.
Jews are JUSTICE oriented and have always favored change and the improvement of the human condition, all over the planet since the dawn of civilization.
Why do you think so many of them bought the Obamian logo of Hope & “change” and “yes we can” B.S.? Jews LOVE change, crave change, almost worship questioning current accepted norms and changing things. It's part of our education. So, it is no surprise that throughout history, Jews have championed change, revolutions, movements and even radicalism. Jews MISTAKENLY embraced Socialism and Communism, because it promised to, one, make them EQUALS to their Christian neighbors and two, promised to help them throw off the chains of the Ghetto/Shtetl existence and finally bring them into the mainstream culture. Little did they know that about 100 years later after their emancipation, they would be not-accepted again by their neighbors and annihilated by the Nazis and all their collaborators. So, the Jews threw their lot in with the Communists, who used and abused them and then with the Socialists who use and abused them too. Every movement the Jews joined, eventually spat of them and booted them out and persecuted them. Today they support a growing, radicalized and very hostile Democratic party but they refuse to see it. Only in the late 19th century did some Jews cling to a new movement, for and about Jews, Zionism. Now, after 130 so years many Jews have even turned on their own national liberation movement. These are self-hating Jews who believe in Progressiveness for all peoples all over the world EXCEPT their beleaguered brothers &* sisters in Israel fighting the West's fight. So, Jews support movements for change and have always been in the forefront of that change. From the Bible, through the Middle Ages to the 19th century Liberation and syndicalization movements down to our very own Jerry Rubin and Abby Hoffman and to Bernard "Lefty" Sanders. Jews, (mistakenly) want change and a bizarre sense of Justice for all, except themselves. It's all about hoping for the best while not being realistic. The ONLY realistic Jews today are the Israelis who face death on an hourly basis because they are...strong Jews who have a strong sense of purpose and the most truest sense of REAL justice,,, survival. BTW, most Israelis would vote for Trump.

I think this claim is incorrect. Plenty of Jewish people are strongly supporting Trump. Clinton and Obama are awful and people paying attention know that. Almost everything Trump says is patently correct and important and good for the country and for all who want a viable future for themselves and their families. The Democratic Party has long since become dangerous for all but terrorists.

The Reform Movement and Conservative Movement and Reconstructionist Movement and the “Renewal” Movement and the ADL and other organizations like operate among the Jewish people are as they are today because they were infiltrated by Marxists and Socialists.
These politicos, some consciously, others naively with displaced idealism, distorted the core beliefs of the religion to fit the Marxist infiltration that they did simultaneously in academics and in government. Their children learned the same propaganda in school and from their clergy. They did among the Reform and Conservative Movements and even somewhat among the Orthodox Union, what they did elsewhere, including with the Quakers, the Lutherans, and some other Protestant movements and a lot of the Catholic Church They confuse the priorities of these “progressive” movements to such an extent that they turned the core of the religion on its head, making themselves a wholly owned political subsidiary of the ever more infiltrated Democratic Party.
They pushed God’s laws under the rug, pretending they didn’t exist, in favor of the DNC’s platforms.
The covenant with God as outlined in the Torah was to follow his laws, written and oral. Too many clergy have been led to such a confused state, which they confuse with the whopper of a misnomer, “social justice,” that they confuse the regency of God (b’malchut shaddai) with the regency of Barack and Hillary. This is equally true also for many, many Christian schools of clergy training. Those who manipulate them keep telling them that the Muslim Jihadist “refugees” and their neighborhood sodomites are in the same boat as persecuted Jews under the Nazis. This is nonsense, but the claim pushes hot bottons, and the propagandists know that this claim is their shortcut to stopping conversation and winning the day.
It’s a case of continuously self-reinforced delusion and continuing propaganda from without. Jews who escaped the Soviet Union learned firsthand, in stark contrast, know for themselves from firsthand experience that the Democratic Party is the very same dangerous worldview and repressive, horrendous system that murdered, incarcerated and repressed them in all areas of their lives. This is what they fled.

Of course not all Jews are wealthy. Not even close!! 80 percent dont even have a net worth of 1 million in this country, which is not a large figure anymore. Heck, if you own a house that is 50 years old, chances are you are worth a million.
And none of my Jewish friends are wealthy. All working and middle class folk, all with incredibly warm hearted parents, many of who treated me like a son.
Still, Jews have the highest average income in America of 100k per year. I WOULD BE THRILLED if it were italians.
