Well, this certainly points to it not being a righteous shoot.
Wow. Nothing is ever good enough for the black supremacists though.
I hope this was done based on evidence and not out of PC or fear of riots.
Since there was reason to believe the car was a bomb, this charge is moot as he disobeyed orders and went to the vehicle and attempted to open the door.
I’d bet this is a PC bs charge for appeasement.
I watched the chopper video a few times. The guy started walking away slowly toward his vehicle with his hands up, apparently disregarding police orders to stop. When he reached his vehicle his hands went down toward the driver side window or door.
Disabling the guy the second he did that was justified, in my opinion. But, killing him is harder to justify.
Her version, according to her atty:
“When Shelby approached the car, the doors were closed, and the windows were open, Wood said.”

(But it looks to me to be pretty clear that the window was closed.)
1st degree? You mean it was planned?
Might want to read through this article:
I don’t like what I saw, but she should be allowed to make the case for her actions in court.
They probably never should have let her on the force. Along with thousands more hired in various departments because they were forced to hire them by the PC Police.
Trump had it right...she was very frightened. And perhaps shouldn’t be a cop.
Good luck to the DA.
Condolences to all the families involved.
Their lives will never be the same.
I think it was an accident, and if it was she should have said so
Too much tension for too long, and when the guy was Tasered she accidentally pulled the trigger too.
The entire police dept should walk off the job over this. If they can railroad her they can railroad any one of them.
There is no way these charges are being brought unless the other three police officers at the seen collaborated with the charges. Not that they sold her down the river. But that they saw something that was not right. And they plainly testified what they saw.
This was a crappy shoot.
I put it in the context of where would I be if I was a private citizen and the shooter? Answer: in jail. Charged with manslaughter.
When will the tox results for PCP or other be available? From multiple labs? The position of the vehicle on the road certainly raises all sorts of questions.
The man should be alive. He was tased. That was sufficient to immobilize him. Whether he was guilty of anything, we could have found out without the lives of our police being at risk. The department did good to provide non-lethal to the patrolmen. Plus, back-up was already on the scene. We will now find out if there the degree of negligence, as to whether it was criminal. The police officer deserves a presumption of innocence. We can do justice for the one person and those who loved him, without doing injustice to the other.
God made man and woman different for a number of reasons. I don’t think one of the reasons for making woman was for her to be a policeman or soldier.
Now the officer will have a chance to present her defense in court, and a jury can decide.
