A comment on ZeroHedge:

Another safety valve is the election system, but what remains to protect it?
The ZH comment on branches makes no sense. The House of Representatives was supposed to be the people’s safeguard, and the judicial branch intended to be the weakest branch. That was the argument in the Federalist Papers that carried the day.
Our election system’s been compromised for decades. It just gets more covert and worse with each passing election.
