I followed this Vote in Colombia. Polls leading up to the vote indicated that YES would win by 60/40 percent. Actual voting was 49/51, LOSING to the NO vote (against the proposed peace treaty with the FARC). That one caught everybody by surprise!
As much as I’d like to believe the Colombia and Brexit results are a harbinger of things to come in the US elections- I suspect our corrupt “leaders” are taking note to ensure that nothing similar will be allowed to happen here.
A Trump win would open the possibility of prison terms for the lying criminal and her former boss Obozo as well as all their little minions - and their Uber wealthy benefactors. If we’ve learned one thing from the IRS and FBI fiascos it’s that these people will stop at nothing prevent Trump from becoming president. The “law” means nothing to them.
Plurality, not majority. Very surprising, all due to the Panama Papers scandal. They will be the main party on the left. The good party might still come in first. Who knows about government formation, the Pirates would probably be clueless about how to govern.
Anyway, great news in Columbia! I WTFed when I saw about this "peace deal" with terrorists and that "yes" was leading and most politicians wanted it. The NY times is whining it lost so you know what's what.
