The end justifies the means. Right down the normal behaviors as expected.
While that is true, the costs for medical care and insurance premiums have risen to absurd levels. Insurance premiums have gone through the roof and you have to include higher deductibles as a rate increase. Whereas before zerocare a deductible might be $500 to $1250 they routinely start at $5,000 and the premiums are some absurd $1500 a month for many families. You do not earn reasonable $50,000 and expect to pay 1/3 of take home for insurance. More, if you make less because the insurance cost doesn’t change.
There is NO incentive for hospitals to lower costs and they have not. They have seen there is a river of money flowing and they just grabbed bigger buckets.
[See the college educations costs that have risen exponentially since everyone just get loans to pay for it]
Actually we do. Food Stamps and Section 8. Trust me, there is a welfare plan to cover everything.
Its called the MARKET!!
Fed Gov has no place, no role in health care.
Adder, you are absolutely right, and what you are saying is essentially what I was saying, you just said it clearer.
Fixed it, saves bytes.
GMTA!!
:]
Sorry but if the government is to get out of healthcare, then we need to completely deregulate it.
They are involved up to their eyeballs, with a million rules and regulations which make our healthcare system the most expensive mess on the entire planet.
THE MOST EXPENSIVE.
That is because it is almost a monopoly. There needs to be huge changes to American healthcare. Big time.
I agree with you, but that does not mean we leave it the way it is.
We need to change it entirely.
Bttt.

Change it entirely by Govt OUT of it.
