NFL Boycotts, Kaepernick Backlash Becoming Major Factor As NFL Ratings Drop Yet Again In Week 4
CBS Boston ^ | Matt Dolloff

Posted on 10/06/2016 1:59:35 AM PDT by EliRoom8

However, one factor that appears to be making a large dent in the ratings and continuing to grow is the backlash resulting from the 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick sitting or kneeling during the national anthem in protest of police brutality against African-Americans. A percentage of fans are now boycotting the NFL in reaction to Kaepernick’s protests and/or the lack of discipline from the league offices resulting from them. It’s likely that a sizable chunk of the rating decline is due to fans swiftly and decisively responding to Kaepernick’s growing protests by turning the games off entirely

Goodell can split the loss in revenue between the kneelers and send them a bill.

Cover up wife beating, rapists, do nothing about drugs or othe felony behaviors... But have some ignoramous sit during the national anthem and that gets the fans finally tune out?

The NFL deserves to die, for a lot of reasons... But I find it amusing that this is what finally was too much for its fans.

Wonderful. Let them strike and see their revenues shrink. The silent majority has been “played” by these goons. It is almost as abhorrent as homosexual shacking to see the FANS cheering for people who despise them and their values.

The salivating, syncophant FANS are even MORE disgusting than those mooning the Stars and Stripes.

The black players don’t even need to go on strike. All they need to do is declare they won’t play hard if they are not allowed to protest the Anthem. (Something they might already have quietly communicated to the team owners)

Two quastions I’d like answered:
1. Why is it that semi- and pretend blacks are more outraged than real blacks?

2) Why are blacks so attracted to Mohammedanism when Mohammedans were responsible for black enslavement?

Just curious.

BTW, all I need to know about the NFL are the scores. And I can get them for free on the internet.

How hard is it to replace them like they did in 1987?

Let them strike and be replaced. If permitted, pay the replacements enough to make striking a bad choice.

I’m not watching NFL games until the spoiled little rich kids stop insulting my country; how about you?

Please include the NY GIANTS on that list. Beckham and Cruz broke uniform rules to wear special 9/11 cleats and dared the NFL to fine them.

Well said; the Giants had no part in this nonsense. We have the Jets here for that...

The New England circus is part of the reason why I lost a lot of interest in the NFL. Their BLM halftime show during the Super Bowl was the last straw.

Perfect “justice”. The bastards need to be hit where things REALLY count, in the pocket book. That gets attention EVERY TIME.

Worth repeating over and over again. I’m on board.

Exactly. Did you see Beckham on Monday? He went over to all the troops and shook their hands after the anthem. The Giants have acted with class during this whole fiasco. Goodell is the son of a commie and needs to step down.

Good point about the Giants. Wouldnt it be great if the vast majority of players put on red white and blue shoes and told Goodell to shove it. He would have trouble suspending 98% of the players.

College is the breeding grounds for this train of thought. It might not show in their games but it does in the classroom.

I haven’t watched NFL football in years (probably the last Giants Super Bowl win being the last time I watched more than half a game), so I can’t really boycott them - I already did. When I occasionally catch part of a game, I’m shocked at 1) how many commercials they have, and 2) how close it is to touch football.

I see them announcing results on Spanish-language news, so they probably realize demographics don’t bode well for them.

The NFL front office determines the halftime shows at the SB. Already booked GAGA for next one. Goodell is a sickening liberal.

The NFL is in a bind, because if they do ANY sort of restriction - even by way of offering the entirely reasonable “let’s keep politics out of sports, we’re here to play football” - the black players will just go on strike, en masse.

To which I say so what. I'm one American who is sick and tired of being bullied by race hustlers.
