“I’m paying you a very high salary to do a job. You work for me and will abide by my standards. If you do not then you will be fired. Period.”

The fans are the ones who pay the players’ salaries. The owner of the team simply passes on what he or she thinks that particular player is worth to the team.

The fans buy the tickets.
The fans buy the merchandise.
The fans buy the advertisers’ products.

Without the fans, there is no money to pay the salaries.

Don’t piss off the fans................
