There are any number of people qualified to warn you about the dangers of hurricanes. A college dropout with two hundred dollar hair sitting in a studio in New York City is not one of them.
But here's Shepard Smith embarrassing himself even by the already low standards of his miserable profession by squeezing one more ounce of drama from a natural disaster while treating people under threat from it with contempt.
Shepard Smith went full Anchorman. That was a terrible idea. But then again Shepard Smith is a terrible idea. But at least his terrible on air persona has now degenerated to the point where he's good for producing viral clips of his stupidity. That's progress. At least for him.
Stheperd Sthmith is an Ole Miss alum, like Thad Cochran and Trent Lott. He learned his effeminate douchbaggery by going there.

During Katrina, he and Getaldo were pretty hysterical, yes. At the time- I was sucked in considering the catastrophe. But, after Katrina, he has continued on with the same MO and it’s no longer appropriate. That was a once in a lifetime excuse. He truly went too far during Matthew.

He obviously obtained his senior position by doing something of a sexual nature that I cannot mention here.
He truly represents the “By Golly”, “Gosh darn it”, “waddyaknow”, “gee whizz”, duh anchorman of TV news.
He has NEVER been a serious journalist or TV personality.
