"Withdraw from Christendom the Bible, the Church with its sacraments and ministry, and Christian morality and hopes, and aspirations for time and eternity; repeal all the laws that are founded in the Christian Scriptures; remove the Christian humanities in the form of hospitals and asylums, and reformatories and institutions of mercy utterly unknown to unchristian countries; destroy the literature, the culture, the institutions of learning, the art, the refinement, the place of woman in her home and in society, which owe their origin and power to Christianity; blot out all faith in Divine Providence, love, and righteousness; turn back every believer in Christ to his former state; remove all thought or hope of the forgiveness of sins by a just but gracious God; erase the name of Christ from every register it sanctifies—in a word annihilate all the legitimate and logical effects of Christianity in Christendom—just accomplish in fact what multitudes of gifted and learned minds are wishing and trying to accomplish by their science, philosophy, and criticism, and what multitudes of the common people desire and seek, and not only would all progress toward and unto perfection cease, but not one of the shining lights of infidelity would shine much longer. At another point in his long "Thanksgiving Sermon," Dr. Arnett made the following assertion about America and "wherein lies its greatness":
"Let us see what it is that makes us so great; wherein lies our strength. What has made us one of the greatest powers of the earth, politically and intellectually? Have we come to the conclusion that it is Righteousness that exalteth a nation? We have met to-day at the request of the President of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant, and also the Governor of our beloved State, Rutherford B. Hayes. For what? Why call us from our homes? Why come to the house of God? Why not go to the hall of mirth and to the places of amusement to-day? No that is not what they want us to do. We are commanded to go to our 'several places of worship, and there offer up thanks to Kind Providence which has brought our nation through the scenes of another year, and blessed the land with peace, plenty and prosperity.' Kidding aside, IF this was a Catholic Church, the anti-Catholic freepers would be out in force to rant and rave that such an incident proves the ENTIRE Catholic Church is "owned by the Democrats" and that we're ALL die-hard socialist Democrats. The fact its an entirely Hispanic congregation wouldn't make any difference to them.
But of course, its one of their fellow "evangelical" churches, so no one will be blasting non-denominational Pentecostalism as a whole or demanding this church get rebuked and excommunicated by their fellow evangelicals for using their church to give a partisan political speech for the Democrats and advocate "en espanol".

I agree. As I said the other day, a guilty guy has a right to defense. You do make sure he gets a fair shake. If you get him off, you feel dirty and leave it at that.
She pulled every string she could to get him off, and as you say even belittled the system/process in the end.
She laughed at the guy defeating the polygraph. She laughed at him getting off. And the premise was, she was so great an attorney that she was able to upset the system.
There was no remorse on her part at all. She relished the idea the guy got off. She had no conscience at all.
That poor kid was raped, beaten, and so badly damaged she would never be able to carry a child in her own body.
Clinton demonstrates that she is one of the most vile people I’ve heard of here. She is a dangerous person. Give her power and look out.
She must lose.
Urging Hispanic Evangelicals to vote is not a smart thing for a Democrat to be doing. They are the most conservative of Hispanics and not Democrat supporters,
I know a Women that claims to be a good Christians, I asked her how she could vote for Hillary, when Hillary believes in 9-4-7-23., Abortion in the 9th month, 4th week, 7th day, 23rd hours. So far, no reply.
