GOP office firebombed in North Carolina, swastika spray-painted nearby

A firebomb burned the inside of a local Republican Party headquarters in Orange County, N.C., on Saturday night, and someone spray-painted a swastika and a warning for GOP members to leave town, police and party officials said Sunday.
The town of Hillsborough, N.C., where the headquarters is located, said in a statement that police were investigating the incident, along with the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. No damage estimates were available Sunday, and authorities did not identify any suspects.

THE first documentary evidence has emerged to support the view that the Nazis started the 1933 Reichstag fire that Hitler used as a pretext to establish a dictatorship.
While historians have agreed that there is no substance to Nazi claims that German Communists were to blame for the blaze, there has also been a lack of evidence to back the widely held belief that Hitler’s supporters burnt down the parliament building in Berlin.
After poring over 50,000 pages of hitherto unexamined documents from former East German and Soviet archives, four leading German historians have now concluded that the fire was a Nazi plot. Marinus van der Lubbe, 24, a pro-Communist Dutch labourer, was beheaded by the Nazis after admitting that he started the blaze alone to encourage a workers’ uprising.
The news magazine Der Spiegel backed this version of events in the 1960s after a wide-ranging investigation. Now, however, the four historians argue that Der Spiegel’s coverage was part of a cover-up by Nazi sympathisers to protect the culprits from prosecution. Their findings put them at odds with other leading academics.
They base their case on remarks by Adolf Rall, a thief and Nazi stormtrooper, whose body was found in woods near Berlin in November 1933. Rall is said to have told prosecutors of a meeting of the SA stormtroopers during which the SA leader, Karl Ernst, ordered them to enter the Reichstag through a tunnel and sprinkle flammable liquid inside.

“The building, located at 347 Ja-Max Drive in the Shops at Daniel Boone, was struck overnight with hate graffiti and with a flammable material thrown through a front window of the headquarters. The graffiti — which included a swastika and the words “Nazi Republicans leave town or else” — was spray-painted in black on the side of an adjacent building, Balloons Above Orange, 353 Ja-Max Drive. The damage was discovered this morning by another business owner, who reported it before 9 a.m.
“The office itself is a total loss,” said Dallas Woodhouse, executive director of state GOP. “The only thing important to us is that nobody was killed, and they very well could have been.”
Police said the words, “Nazi Republicans get out of town or else” were spray painted on the side of an adjacent building.”

They are scared sh!tless that Trump is going to win. He will! And I suspect big.
As a side note, so far there are multiple duplicate posts.
I know that FR is slow today, but don’t hit the post button more than once.
Not surprisingly, the media are trying to spin this as a plus for Hillary, e.g., “Trump’s rhetoric raised tensions and led to this sort of thing,” Hillary’s response was more “presidential,” etc.
Thanks, it has seemed like the place has been frequently hit of late, but I lost count.

I didn’t know about this story until this morning when I read it here on Free Republic. What a sad thing. Whoever did this garbage, should be found and put in JAIL.
I think I read that CNN is blaming Trump’s supporters for this. Media spin is getting ridiculous.
