I would suspect cell phones are totally verboten in a highly electronics equipped environment like a recording studio. Too much chance of a stray radio emission interfering with equipment. Same as for medical facilities.

If you read and watched the entire article it mentions her aides aren't allowed to have cell phones for that very reason
