Nice try, Bitch! ;)
My heart stopped when I first saw the story....plane and Pence was all I saw at the time. Thank you Lord for saving Gov. Pence and all those passengers and crew.
Attempted Arkancide!
Maybe just a warning. “You had better undermine Trump or something bad will happen.”
Shurrrr Hellary........shurrrrr.......:(
Pence grabbed the steering wheel and saved everyone on that plane, like he did on Johnny Quest.
Tim Kaine probably put banana peels on the runway. :)
No Arkancide. More likely a pilot with not enough hours. The embedded reporter said they had been experiencing repeated hard landings. That’s the pilot.
“NBC campaign embed Vaughn Hillyard said on MSNBC later that the Pence plane has often had hard landings, “
Often???
Hilly cares about the Secret Service agents? That’s odd considering she treats them worse than dog crap.
Trump campaign going to great lengths to illustrate infrastructure woes at the hands of failed leftwing governance, with a little help from Putin no doubt, says clinton camp. (sarcasm alert)
Thank God all are well
It is most amazing to me how silly folks are when they make stupid comments about aircraft landings....when they know absolutely nothing about landing in bad weather on short runways. Fact is: we need to wait for the DOT/FAA investigation to determine the actual cause of the accident. It could be a bad approach, a slick runway, poor visibility, pilot error, a mechanical problem, etc. Laguardia airport, sadly, has the worst short runways in the country and, has been that way for many. many years. Snide & brash comments by uninformed folks carry no weight...nor, should they!!! Thank God...all are safe!!!
Yes, I cringe, like you, when the hoi polloi here comment on guns, aircraft, and boats without getting with a stone's throw of a fact. However, you don't have to know the technicalities of a trade when it is pretty evident what happened, without waiting for the official stamp of blame.
Tens of thousands of that type of plane, one if not the most popular passenger plane in the world, a Boeing 737, lands on that runway without incident in a year.
The pilot has a record of bouncing his landings, this is caused by poor speed control on approach but for our purposed we can ignore that.
Pilot of this particular plane lands too fast and too far down the runway to stop, he should have gone around but ignore this too. The fact is he ran off the end of the runway. Yeah, there is a LOT of things the MAY have happened, like hydro-planing, brakes locked, he forgot to lower his flaps, nevermind, he ran of the end of the runway. Note the plane is leased, so the pilot is undoubtedly building hours to get a cushy airline job, a trainee in fact. He should have asked himself why he was bouncing landings, a two hour trainee pilot could have told him lack of speed control was cause. So yeah, in this case pilot error.
It all depends on what his idea of a "hard landing" is. My sister, who is scared to death of flying, will tell you that every time she has flown it ended with a "hard landing"......LOL!
Well I must not be that smart as I failed in writing a simple paragraph in my native language that would convey that a lot of people give their opinion about subjects that they have not studied. Americans are famous for that, if fact we have an expression "Opinions are like Azzh..es, everybody has one." Using "hoi polloi" was an attempt at gentle humour, as I am a life-long member of that group. Regret not getting that across.
