Well, sometimes things are just divinely orchestrated.
There is something very Red Wedding about the past few weeks.
That original report that that they were dependent on “wifi” almost has to be incompetent reporting. If they were using internet, it would have been via their wireless provider, not a couple of minutes of “wifi” as a McDonald’s came into range a thousand feet below them during their approach to the airport.
So if they did lose phone service all of a sudden in a place — any place — big enough to have an airport to land in, that is indeed a puzzler.
