Speaking to reporters on Monday night, Texas Republican Senator and one-time GOP candidate for president Ted Cruz reported that he voted a straight Republican ticket.
Cruz made his October 31 remark after exiting the multi-service center on West Grey in Houston, Texas. He said he had just voted and cast a ballot for GOP nominee Donald Trump, Houstons KHOU reported.
He also urged all conservatives to do the same.
Its all about turnout and thats why [we] need people to come out and vote, Cruz added. Its why I voted early. You beat the lines on Election Day and you make your voice count.

Poor Cruz. He can hardly get his own state to vote for him.
He’s urging “the straight ticket” but can’t bring himself to say Trump’s name, LOL.
My wife and I already did vote in our little town of Waskom Texas....Home of the two time 3aD2 State Football Champs...LOL Go Trump
God forbid he do a little more to help Trump. Like Marco, he is thinking only of 2020
He’s not running until 2020
I tend to agree but like I said on Jim’s thread about Mark Levin, “coulda-shoulda” can wait, let’s get Trump elected, all help to that end is welcome.
Some of the things I have read online say the crooked voting machines react to a 100% republican ticket by changing the Trump vote to Clinton. Surely ONE Democrat is worthy, just to assure the vote being counted accurately.
Majority leader is out of reach. SCOTUS would get him out of the way in an honorable manner as long as he’s not Manchurian. Ya never know.
I am going to be voting a straight Republican ticket in order to clean out Demos.
If they don’t hold office they won’t be able to move up the ladder. Starve their up and coming pols.
Yup! Saddle up amigos. It’s time.
I have some old friends in central Texas and they have nothing good to say about ole Ted.
2020 is a long way away. Ted may change his mind. He is young enough.
Too bad he's not taller. [He's only 5'10"].
I’ll have to disagree.
Straight ticket leads to the team mentality that is keeping Clinton afloat now.
Yes, except for Paul Ryan.
Here in Pennsylvania, I will be voting a straight Republican ticket EXCEPT for my congressman, scumbag Charlie Dent.
In this one case, I will be voting for the democRAT to unseat the NeverTrumper.
That poll-tested branding of Hillary has put many into a hypnotic trans...
Cruz didn’t have a problem winning Texas in the primaries, and will be reelected again in 2018 as Senator. He is supporting Trump unlike a lot of other republicans I have no problem with him, the only mistake he made was not endorsing Trump at the convention.
The primaries are next year.
