A woman missing since August has been found alive after allegedly being held captive on a property in Woodruff, South Carolina, officials said Thursday.
Spartanburg County Sheriff's deputies were searching the property Thursday morning in relation to a tip about a sex crime, when they heard a loud banging from a metal storage container.
Sheriff Chuck Wright told local NBC affiliate WYFF that deputies discovered Kala Brown, 30, "chained inside the container like a dog."
She told authorities she had been held there for two months.
"It's all by God's grace that we found that little girl alive," Wright told the station.
The sheriff also said Brown told investigators about four bodies possibly buried on the property. A massive investigation is underway, and photos from the scene show a backhoe being brought in. No bodies were found as of 7 p.m., and the search was called off at nightfall and will resume in the morning, the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office said.
The owner of the property, Todd Kohlhepp, a registered sex offender, has been taken into custody and will be charged with kidnapping, according to the sheriff.
Other charges are also possible, officials said.

Moral Law is Natural Law-—the basis of our Constitution and it is only a Christian/Western philosophy which created the Age of Reason. All other religions/worldviews throw out Free Will (choice) and Individual Natural Righs from God only-—never the State, or oligarchy, or obama, etc.
But we have Rule of Oligarchy (man) now....no Rule of Law (Higher Law) and when laws promote Vice (all irrational man-made up “law”), you get children who embed evil worldview/desires/attitudes.
All unjust laws use others in dehumanizing, evil ways as “Objects” like the above women. When “Just” law promotes vice 24/7 like our “laws” do-—taken over by Marxists who threw out the Constitution (1913)-—then you get evil people...slippery slope. One bad apple rots the whole barrel—always top down “morality”....trickles to the consciousness of children. Toxic cultures (and ours is worse than the vulgar, homo-erotic Weimar Republic) will destroy virtue formation in children who embed the culture. What they “see” and “hear” becomes “good” and “normal” and evil “law” (unconstitutional in US) uses others in degrading, dehumanizing ways which use others as a Means-——always un-Christian and unconstitutional—but it is what Kagan and the evil, treasonous “judges” “pass”——unconstitutonal “laws” 24/7 to destroy us from within.
As Cicero stated, when laws promote vice, it will corrupt the civil society. That is why the Cultural Marxists took over our “legal” system (and “educational” system)-—to destroy us from within (a hundred years ago).

They’ll find some psychologists who will say that this monster in normal. Mental illness should not excuse these perverts from punishment. Like rabid dogs they should be put down for the safety of society at large.
And yet there are some, even here, who would support pornography and the reduction of sex to an act intended only for its physical pleasure. Sex is meant to be an expression and act of the mutual love between a man and a woman united in marriage, a self-surrender of one to the other in a permanent union through which new life is brought into the world. To see it otherwise is to debase oneself in an ugly selfishness, the exact opposite of its proper purpose.
The crime reported here is just an extreme example of what is a general societal problem. We need to return to the Christian morality that our grandparents had before the plague of the sexual revolution, including its rejection of the proper distinctions between men and women that is pushed by Feminism and the redefining of family.
