WASHINGTON, D.C. (WAVY) Social media sites are trying to remove fake ads that say users can text their votes for the Presidential Election. They cant!
No states allow voting via texting. The only way to vote is by absentee ballot or showing up in person at your local polling precinct.
Twitter is starting to suspend the accounts that share the ad. Officials havent said exactly who is posting the ads. There is also one floating around that is in Spanish, trying to target Hispanic voters.
I say go for it. Only Hillary voters would fall for it.
Democrats have an average IQ of 260; Republicans struggle to reach the low 80s.
Which is why Democrats are falling for this ad, and it is targeted at Dem voters, amirite?
The only thing that would have made it funnier, is if it had a splash or banner saying "...on your Obamaphone."
About time for the jokes that Democrats vote on Nov 9 so they can avoid long lines. That usually has the usual suspects yelling racism.
And let Demonicrats know that this year, to avoid long lines, they can wait until Wednesday to go and vote.
Liz.
I wonder how many will attempt to send 2 or more texts.
So, I’m guessing Skype is out too?
Seems suspicious, did a Russian write that?
good way to weed out the way-too-stupid. I don’t see a downside.
What dumbass would fall for that? Good thing I already emailed my ballot.
And, text votes can be submitted as late as Wednesday.
I bet it’s just an apolitical monetary scam to collect a dime or whatever they charge for these sorts of messages.
Good prospects for a target audience, though.
THEY ALL SHOULD... they're dumb enough to want to vote for her...LOL
You can vote twice if you do it on an obamaphone.
