Fake ads tell people they can vote by texting

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WAVY) – Social media sites are trying to remove fake ads that say users can text their votes for the Presidential Election. They can’t!

No states allow voting via texting. The only way to vote is by absentee ballot or showing up in person at your local polling precinct.

Twitter is starting to suspend the accounts that share the ad. Officials haven’t said exactly who is posting the ads. There is also one floating around that is in Spanish, trying to target Hispanic voters.

Remember, boys and girls (and zhes and zhirs and s/h/its).

Democrats have an average IQ of 260; Republicans struggle to reach the low 80s.

Which is why Democrats are falling for this ad, and it is targeted at Dem voters, amirite?

The only thing that would have made it funnier, is if it had a splash or banner saying "...on your Obamaphone."

About time for the jokes that Democrats vote on Nov 9 so they can avoid long lines. That usually has the usual suspects yelling racism.

And let Demonicrats know that this year, to avoid long lines, they can wait until Wednesday to go and vote.

I bet it’s just an apolitical monetary scam to collect a dime or whatever they charge for these sorts of messages.

Good prospects for a target audience, though.
