Where are Hillary's Blackberry messages?

Summary: Hillary Clinton had Blackberry Enterprise Server installed on her private server. Her staff was procuring used Blackberries on the private market. This would allow totally unaccountable communication with unknown parties. Why has no one asked about the use of Blackberry Messenger messages?

Details: I feel like everyone is overlooking a key component of Hillary’s private server and “burner” Blackberries. Where are the Blackberry Messenger messages? There is little doubt that she and her circle were using Blackberry Messenger (BBM) on their Blackberries.

BBM was and is encrypted from the sending to the receiving Blackberry and brokered either through Blackberry’s Blackberry Internet Server (BIS) in Canada, or through privately owned Blackberry Enterprise Servers (BES). The Canadian government has the means to crack the encryption for messages brokered through BIS pursuant to an agreement with Blackberry. It is my understanding, however, that the encryption on private BES’s is unbreakable. I believe that neither BIS nor BES retain the messages once they have brokered them. That means that after transmission, the BBM messages only reside in two places: the sending and the receiving Blackberries. In March of 2009, less than two months after Hillary became Secretary of State, the “Clinton Private Server Farm” had an upgrade. This upgrade included a server running BES:

How would you recover them after the phones were smashed with a hammer?

Pre-Secy Hillary at an earlier Silicone Valley tech convention. She sap-happily admitted to having several personal devices. Hillary on video wherein Hillary tells an earlier tech conference in California: “I have, you know, an iPad, a mini iPad, an iPhone and a Blackberry.”

BUT at the infamous UN presser, she put on her dumb act.

EVEN BEFORE HER INFAMOUS UN PRESSER WHERE THE SMIRKNG HILLARY DENIED EVERYTHING---Fox has Hillary on video wherein Hillary tells an earlier tech conference in California: “I have, you know, an iPad, a mini iPad, an iPhone and a Blackberry.”

" Where are all those electronics, Hillary"?

Did Hillary delete pertinent e-mails while subject to congressional investigation?

THE NYT REPORTED 3/27/15: Clinton’s review (and erasing?) of her emails did not occur when she was secretary of state ......or even shortly after she left office.

Last October, nearly two years after she left office, the State Department sent her a letter requesting all government records, like emails, she may have possessed. In response, she provided the State Department in December with about 30,000 printed emails that she said were government records. She has said that an additional 30,000 emails were personal.

It appears Clinton still has copies of the emails she deemed public records. Attached to Mr. Kendall’s letter was one sent to him by the State Department this week.

A letter from the under secretary of state for management, Patrick F. Kennedy, said that the department understood that she wanted to keep copies of those documents. Mr. Kennedy said that the agency had consulted with the National Archives, and that allowing her “access to the documents is in the public interest as it will promote informed discussion” as she responds to congressional and other inquiries.

Beyond me! But has the question even been asked? Would there be a record with ATT of the transmissions and receipts even if the content was encrypted? Is the code for Clinton’s Blackberry server still available.

A WikiLeaks/Podesta email shows DOJ’s Peter Kadzik making it clear that he actively assisted Hillary Clinton to avoid disclosure of her illegal email activity. It is essential for us to call for Mr. Kadzik’s immediate resignation or, in the very least, to be disqualified from any involvement in the review of the emails recently found on Mr. Weiner’s computer.

It is an outrage that Mr. Kadzik has anything further to do with this matter in light of his blatant conflict of interest, not to mention potentially criminal conduct relating to the Congressional investigation.

There is a HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify. Likely to get questions on State Department emails. Another filing in the

FOIA case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails.

The messages should be on the server. Not sure how long they store them. Warrant needed to get them if they were part of the investigation. FBI should have them. Hackers probably don’t have them.

Hillary’s email would have gone thru an AT&T server in route to the Microsoft Exchange Server hosting the the Outlook mail box.

Messages are stored on the server, not the device only.

Ok, thanks. So BBM’s are retained on Blackberry Enterprise Server. That would mean that, theoretically, FBI has them if they weren’t deleted.

The BES encryption is pretty strong.

Absent a back door, those messages might be hard to read.

Maybe but if it was one of the blackberry’s at my post in either of the posts which I was a State Dept Blackberry Admin, those BBs are for Email connectivity while away form the office and for phone usage.

Alos, all texting messages would have been if they exist on the Carrier’s backups, and as such look to AT&T. Their top tier people also belong to Intel Agencies.... So there you have.

Which could be the reason that Hillary’s Blackberries were procured through third parties. Burners:

True, SMS would be with carrier. BBM would be on Hillary’s Blackberry Enterprise Server, right? Would the systems admin have the key?

Could also be on the Datto backup device which the FBI has:

Depending on PRN’s level of service contract, this device could have copied EVERYTHING.
