Her lack of health may prevent that.
I agree let her run again for an even easier Trump win !!!
She can run the campaign from her jailhouse. Her staff could have adjoining cells and they could use the break rooms for the campaign headquarters.
Hillary will be dead by then. She’s truly not well, and for a political climber like her she has no purpose
Well, if dead democrats can vote, why can’t they run for office?
But, on a serious note, the Democratic Party will have to answer, soon, how the f*** could the worst candidate in 100 years (at least) get their nomination?
I don't mean "worst" from our political point of view - I just mean "worst" in the sense that being a major party nominee is a role, it has expectations, mechanics, conventions, etc - and she was just plain awful.
Why didn't they see that?
CNN did a piece on failed presidential candidates of the past a while back.
Gist was they fade away into obscurity.
So will CNN let this despicable POS just go away other than report on Clinton convictions?
They have nobody of any real repute. Lord help them if they tried to retread a Hillary, or Kerry or that ilk.
They could run Chelsea. She lights up a room like a firecracker./s
Ping me in 3 years
“Why should Hillary Clinton disappear from the Democrat political scene?”
Yes. Preferably to a quick eternity burning in hell.
The media never understood just how truly, historically, uniquely bad Hillary Clinton was as a presidential candidate. She had EVERYTHING in her favor — money, the press, organization, a “government in waiting” in the Clinton Foundation. Yet she still lost.
Her campaign reminds me of the quote about General McClellan from the Civil War: “McClellan brought superior forces to Sharpsburg but the Confederates had one important advantage in that he also brought himself.”
Hillary is the new Pat Paulsen a perennial, designated loser.
She is the first woman to lose a Presidential election.
That would be a first, the demodummies running a dead woman for POTUS, a second time. I suggest that Hitlary will be LONG GONE by 2020. But then again, demodummies DO VOTE even after they’re dead, why not run for president?
The Republicans had to answer that same question with McCain in 2008.
I think she’ll be deceased by 2020 - natural causes.
I still think that she was the only one in her camp who thought she could win. This was all just a massive money grab with winning being a second priority just as long as the Clinton cronies got their share of the filthy lucre.
Fortunately the American people did not choose an un-indicted felon as their next president.
GO TRUMP GO!!!
I realize your post was written tongue-in-cheek, but it’s not far-fetched (assuming Hillary isn’t wearing an orange jumpsuit in 2020).
Here’s the problem: “leadership” and potential top-tier candidates in the Democratic Party have been ossified—it’s a dinosaur convention. If HRC is finished, who are the remaining Dims with national name recognition (and a support base) who could run in four years? Bernie Sanders? He’ll be 79. Joe Biden? 77. Elizabeth Warren, the supposed “fresh face” of the party. She will be 71. Even someone like Tim Kaine will be 62.
And the problem gets worse, thanks (in part) Barack Obama. Under his “leadership” the Dims focused on keeping him in the White House and that was about it. No effort to make the party more competitive at the state level. In the interim, the GOP occupied itself with exerting control among the governors and state legislatures. The number of states with both houses of the legislatures controlled by Republicans (now at 30) has doubled under Obama’s watch. There are 900 more Republican legislature members now than when Barry took office. And before yesterday’s election, 31 of the 50 governors were Republicans, and many can point to records of low taxes, reform and economic growth that positions them for higher office.
Of course, that pays dividends in terms of re-districting and grooming future candidates for higher office. The Democratic bench is painfully thin and that won’t change anytime soon. Assuming Hillary is done/isn’t in prison, the Dims may have to fall back on one of their fossils in 2020, and if Trump is even moderately successful as President, most of them will take a pass.
Under ordinary circumstances, the Dims would probably put the old guard out to pasture and move on. Except their “next generation” has never really emerged, due to problems at the state level. And that situation shows no sign of changing. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch.
