A student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette fabricated a story that she was attacked and had her hijab rippped off, police said Thursday.
The attack was one of several reported in the wake of Donald Trump’s election victory.
In a press release Thursday afternoon, the Lafayette Police Department said that during the course of their investigation into the woman’s complaint, she “admitted that she fabricated the story about her physical attack as well as the removal of her hijab and wallet by two white males.
“This incident is no longer under investigation” by the department, the statement said.

That’s called filing a false police report. I almost got hit with it once, by an honest mistake. I called in a report that my camera had been stolen out of my Jeep, talked to the cop and told him wait a minute, I still needed to go home and check, I’d let him know, he said don’t even think about it. Check first, then file a report if it’s not there. When I asked him why, that’s what he told me. Filing a false report. I went home and checked, called him and told him I had made a mistake, it was at home...Glad I waited...
She should be written up for this.
But that doesn’t happen to those of the “protected classes”, remember? It’s all about the “narrative”...
The fact that they have to fabricate so many of these “hate crimes” should be enough to tell them something.
Unfortunately when the media and gullible interviewees repeat these lies, they propagate this nonsense and it has “become the truth”. Any false police report concerning a bias crime needs to be dealt with severely; people react to the fake stories with violence. It is inciting violence, which is also a crime.
She’s a terrorist who probably went out on the town, spent her money getting drunk (and couldn’t be drinking in her body sheet), and had to explain it all afterwards.
