I heard someone on one of the cable news channels say today that the real reason Christie was put on the bench was that he was pushing the idea that Trump needed to fill the openings with establishment GOP types. Trump replaced him with Pence as head of transition because he didn't like that advice. The BridgeGate thing and two of Christie's aides just being convicted, didn't help Christie any either.

My last point. The media has the long knives out for Trump, now that he has won, just like they had them out for him during the campaign. They are making a big deal about anything Trump does now, including changing his mind on stuff only two days after the election. They are still against Trump no matter what. But Trump knows what he is doing and I welcome a chief executive to the WH that has management and corporate decision-making experience. He's not afraid to make changes when results aren't being produced. Christie was just an example of this willingness to make changes until he has the right person in the job.
