Former President George W. Bush is releasing a new book early next year featuring portraits he painted of nearly 100 veterans who were wounded during his tenure as commander in chief.
Bush wrote on Facebook that he's spent several months painting the portraits of 98 wounded warriors "who were injured carrying out my orders."

If W would give the proceeds of the book to the 98 men he painted - that would go towards my forgiving him for some of the bonehead things he did. If not for 9/11 there is no doubt that he would have pushed through some kind of amnesty plan.
I will never forget W being in charge after 9/11. He was awesome then. He has been a disappointment since then in many ways, especially in his not endorsing Donald Trump.

There is no perfect human being on the planet. No perfect mortal human ever born or who ever will be born who is perfect. Yes, GWB has done things with which I disagree, but he has been truly magnificent in his support for wounded veterans. As a veteran myself (Navy), I thank and applaud him for what he does for veterans.
Our Republican Women’s club has donated several books to local libraries featuring George W. It is too bad he and his family tarnished the Bush legacy by their self-serving actions during the 2016 election.

The missing pages point absolutely to saudi financing, and Bush lets them out of the country, holds hands with the saudi king or whomever in a picture, and attacks the World Threatening Iraq!!!

I agree that what the Bush family did leading up to this election was awful. But, as a veteran myself, I am able to applaud what GWB does for vets while also being disgusted by his and his family’s lack of support for Donald Trump once he became the Republican nominee.
