“President-elect Donald Trump’s policies are likely to make it harder for developing nations to obtain the growing finance they need to combat climate change...”

To go along with the fiction as to the causes of global warning, the developing nations are not one of them. This is an admission that the global warning nonsense is only a means for wealth confiscation, redistribution, and regimentation of the populations.

Let them have a bake sale to raise money. To hear them tell it, you’ll be able to just set the pans right out on the street.

“In the run-up to a Paris summit last year, the United Nations sometimes referred to climate finance as a “golden key” to unlock a global deal.”

Sorry UN no “golden key” from the USA.

Climate funds for poor? That’s three liberal buzz words, crammed together in a phrase that means absolutely nothing.

If the poor countries “middle class” actually stuck it out, got trade labor going, etc. It is the stream of their less than extreme poor leaving the country that hurts them a great deal, because it doesn’t often change the education or the poverty status in their home country. There are some exceptions, but that is what they are.

Some of these country’s problems could be attributed to climate, but it’s not man-caused climate so the money spent on climate change is a total waste.

“The collective 2020 goal of $100 billion in climate finance was originally set at a summit in Copenhagen in 2009. Democrat Hillary Clinton, defeated by Trump, announced U.S. support for the plan at the time as U.S Secretary of State.”

Wonder why Hillary did not campaign on this issue? Maybe because she would of lost a couple more swing states.

Poor “where????” Not in the USA ... this was going to give money to “poor” people in Europe and the Middle East. We should take that money and give it to our own POOR people (if they are willing to work for it).

It’s funny that the bulk of the “poor” nations embrace islam and cannot find their way into making and holding productive societies. It’s ridiculous that Obama and others should want to raid western productive societies to fund these broken down piratical states.

The last things poor countries need is to expend money on climate change foolishness.
