President-elect Donald Trump's policies are likely to make it harder for developing nations to obtain the growing finance they need to combat climate change, threatening one pillar of a 2015 international agreement to slow global warming.

Among the first casualties could be the Green Climate Fund (GCF), meant to help developing countries act. Rich nations promised the GCF $10 billion in a first round of funding in 2014, including $3.0 billion from the United States.

Sorry but we need the $3 billion here. Typical world wide fund United States kicks in largest share of money.

I studied history like everyone else in school. I don’t remember reading about any countries giving us money so we could grow with it. We did it ourselves, the old fashioned way, by acting like a growing nation by trading and supporting ourselves first. Want to be a growing nation, great. But you’re not our growing nation. And maybe you shouldn’t be a growing nation if you are so reliant on help in today’s world and aren’t prepared to be a nation. We’ve got our own problems that foreign welfare adds to.
