With uphill Senate battle looming, Foster Campbell looks to unify Louisiana Democrats

Foster Campbell has no chance of winning next month’s U.S. Senate runoff unless he unifies the fractured state Democratic Party, and he took a step in that direction Thursday by holding his first post-primary phone conversation with Caroline Fayard, the Democrat who finished fourth Tuesday and out of the money.

...

Political pros call Kennedy the clear favorite in the Dec. 10 runoff election because of inherent advantages. About 60 percent of voters in the primary voted for one of the Republican candidates while only about 36 percent voted for a Democrat.

...

The state and national Republican parties want to make sure Kennedy does not lose.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee is opening 10 offices throughout Louisiana to promote the candidacy of Kennedy and at least two other Republicans competing in Dec. 10 runoffs, said Jason Doré, who is executive director of the Louisiana GOP.

State Rep. Mike Johnson of Shreveport is running against Marshall Jones, a Democrat, to represent northwest Louisiana in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Another infamous Louisiana runoff - so the 2016 election is still not quite over.

Control of the Senate is not in doubt but another seat would guard against turncoats.

Kennedy will win.

Clinton was also supposed to win.

The only man worth his salt out of the 23 candidates, was retired Col. Rob Maness.

Both Campbell and Kennedy have been on the tongue of the statewide radio guy Moon Griffon, and none too kindly, for over 4 years.

Campbell is Edward’s ‘boy’.
Kennedy has been the one counting the State’s money.

We HAD an election, and the usual backwater lazy legislature-don’t-want-to-work Constitutional amendments, already.

No, Moon Griffon is now a Kennedy supporter and has been on good terms with the treasurer for years now. Col. Maness was unable to convince voters but is a great person.

Look on the bright side. Duke beat Edwards and Landrieu in this Senate race - for seventh place.

Dear theodore,

thanks for the update.

With the oustanding example that Vitter gave me of a Louisiana Senator, the taste of the castor oil still lingers.

No, i’m not saying that I voted for any other guy, it is still strange that a DC madam that stated that should she be found hanging in her garage, she didn’t do it, and lo and behold, there she hung.

I didn’t vote for the doctor Abrahm last time, and i voted against him, again. oh well.

For a state that coddles their ex-fed-con governor, and allowed him to run for Congress, and made a guy named Duke 7th of 23 candidates for Senator, it’s no wonder that Maness never had a chance.

I’ll stay home, thank you.

First polling looks good, knock on wood

Kennedy (R) 58%
Campbell (D/BLM) 35%

Filthy rat scum will try and win this, incite Black turnout and trick gullible Whites into thinking Campbell is anything but garbage. Kennedy can’t rest on his laurels. 52 seats (thanks to NH THEFT) is too GD close let alone 51, we absolutely cannot afford to bone this.

And for the House races!

CD-3
Higgins (R) 50%
Angelle (RINO SWINE) 42%

CD-4
Johnson (R) 60%
Jones (D/BLM) 35%

The NRSC, DSCC, NRCC and , DCCC have chosen their chairs

NRSC: Cory Gardner of CO
DSCC: Incoming Sen Chris Van Hollen, he chaired the DCCC during the 2008 (good for rats) and 2010 (disaster for rats) elections.

NRCC: Steve Stivers of Ohio, a deputy of outgoing Chair Greg Walden
DCCC: Presumably sticking with Ben Ray Lujan of NM

Van Hollen and Lujan are servants of Satan, curse them daily.
