Universities across America actively advance the social revolution to redefine gender and normalize all permutations of sexual proclivity.
At Rutgers University, The Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities asserts that "Gender identity is the inward sense of being man, woman, both, neither, or any other gender(s). This identity is not visible. Gender expression is an outward means of expressing a persons gender and can include mannerisms, clothing, hair, and other modes of expression. While gender expression is often visible, it is not necessarily an indicator of a person's identity. The only way to know a persons gender is if they tell you.
The same webpage also asserts that, "Gender is not determined by bodily characteristics "
A plethora of colleges throughout the nation disseminate similar doctrines through their own LGBTQIA centers.

Gender is biological, not social.
Sure. But they will still discriminate against normal males.
There is no biological evidence for the existence of “gender.” It is a completely fabricated construct, a figment of the imagination. It deserves as much credibility as a palm reader at the carnival.
Universities will become irrelevant as they push this insanity on the rest of us. Congress needs to defund any schools that don’t know the difference between male and female.
Are universities in other countries doing this?

It’s nice to see that our college students and their parents are paying a fortune to learn absolutely nothing of value.

This was starting in the late 1960’s. Some people were trying to get us to use a gender neutral third person singular pronoun, “co”. It didn’t get far then because it was a fringe that was advocating it. Now that that fringe controls academia, the media, and large parts of the government, we may see it forced upon us.
This is true, but sex sure is! ... which is why the sustained effort to confuse the two terms.
Unfortunately, the terms "gender" and "sex" are used interchangeably by many people which leads to confusion, most notably (and sadly) confusion among the sexually confused.
At the end of the day, this is the Progressive movement’s attempt to reject God, God’s creation, and elevate man (or man’s vanguard ruling junta of wise men) to the position of God.
Men and women are equivalent, etc.
Marriage is independent of gender.
Man changes the climate.
Man causes plate tektonics.
What examples of hubris are left? Can man become any more arrogant?
I guess we haven’t yet got to the point of fully sexualizing children, and fully creating them by human design, but the vector is pointing in that direction.
Middle America is asleep, letting the Progressives whisper happy lullabies in its ears.
We do no favors to those suffering from sexual identity disorders (SIDs) by enabling them.
As is IQ.
Ya know....I'm gettin' close to 80....
I NEVER thought I'd live to see anything like this happening in My AMERICA
I’m beginning to believe stories I have read about all those female hormones from birth control pills, etc., ending up in the water supply, and screwing up everyone’s gender along the way.

The Left’s “war on science.”
Perhaps they should focus on books instead of what kind of underwear w very one has?
I self-identify as an old, disabled, black, Spanish-surnamed Native American lesbian woman in a man's body. Therefore, I am a member of seven (count 'em, seven) different protected minority groups.
Anything anyone says that I disagree with will be classified as hate speech.
And as an aside, if you are encouraged to proclaim your sexual identity, can you also claim an alternate racial identity? That also affords one the opportunity for set-asides and lowered requirements.
