This is the most targeted disinfo thread I've seen in a long time. It hits on all of the main points that would inflame /pol/ into hoping it's true, and therefore tricking anons into giving it more consideration than normal.- "muh life is in danger" / "I worked up the courage to do this"- gag order, computer equipment being taken, national security letter- "I'm an insider in organization XYZ"- "You'll know I was legit when…"- child exploitation / pedophilia / global pedophile ring (this is not a meme, it's just something that is on most of our minds and is a great thing to include to get /pol/ to believe this disinfo)- proof of things that /pol/ has been searching for proof of, i.e. Clinton Foundation- technical details that go over the head of some /pol/acks, i.e. DDoS attack, mechanism of action of a dead man switch- "Julian Assange is dead / missing"- the principal of an organization going dark in general- impostors or a secret coup of an organization- leaks from wikileaks after date aa/bb/cccc are compromised- TOR being compromised because of exit nodes being owned by feds (it is compromised, but it's the entry nodes that pose the threat when using .onion sites, as well as timing attacks in general)- posting on /pol/ and not triggering the dead man's switch, THEN posting here and telling anons how to access the ACTUAL data
This is disappointing bait at the very best, and a component of a large disinfo campaign at the worst. Those of you that are truly, 100% convinced that Assange is dead and Wikileaks is compromised should perhaps carefully consider their positions, given that this is directly shilling for that same conclusion with zero evidence.
In addition, this thread comes after the SEC whistleblower thread from yesterday, which had a lot of indications of the anon's claims being legitimate, and had good amounts of actionable information attached to it. Be wary of shills trying to discredit actual leaks through distractions and hurting the signal to noise ratio of things on /pol/.
