Chicago police said four people were arrested and charged with vehicular hijacking a week after video of a man being beaten while onlookers yelled 'Don't vote for Trump' went viral.

Police said those four are the people seen on a video of a traffic altercation that escalated into a beating in the 1100-block of South Kedzie on Nov. 9. In the video, 50-year-old David Wilcox is kicked and punched repeatedly by two men while another person rummages around in his car. The video also shows Wilcox holding onto his car as one man drives away.
In the video onlookers shout "Don't vote for Trump!" as they watch. Wilcox said he did, in fact, vote for Donald Trump but that his attackers had no way of knowing that. He said he did not believe the attack was politically motivated.

Wilcox was profiled and then became the victim of a hate crime.
But unlike if the situation was reversed, the perps were victims of unfortunate childhoods and should be counseled, not punished. /s

Good; let them all to 10-15 in prison where they will get a nice criminal education, get out for a week or two, commit another crime hopefully not involving killing someone, then can spend the rest of their worthless lives in prison. Some trash should go straight to the trash bin of society (prison).

I’d add at least one charge of criminal violence to the vehicular hijacking. Someone points a gun at a driver and the driver get out otherwise unhurt, that’s vehicular hijacking. But, in addition to taking his vehicle, they also beat this guy and additionally dragged him from the vehicle at high speed.
