President-elect Donald Trump is concerned that he will not be able to continue using his Android cellphone once he takes office, according to a new report.
According to The New York Times, Trump voiced concerns to his aides over becoming isolated without the phone and keeping in contact with his friends.
ADVERTISEMENT Trump became known for tweeting at all hours of the day during his presidential campaign.
At times, the tweets came from his Android phone, which the Twitter application may denote at the bottom of tweets.
Days before the election, President Obama mocked Trump after a report indicated the businessman's aides had revoked his access to his Twitter account.

He can just write his tweets out on a whiteboard, then have an aide go down to the basement, put it on teletype and send it to the Pentagon where it’s retyped and saved to a 8 1/2 inch floppy drive, then sent to a missle silo where they can print it hard copy then take the elevator to the surface and tweet it from their android.
This is complete BS. Twitter works on every smartphone.
As I recall, Obama felt the same way about his Blackberry.
I don’t know how that turned out. I suspect he just used email and threw all caution to the winds, sort of like his Secretary of State did.
W didn’t use email during his 8 year term because of national security, unlike idiot Hillary.

Not a big deal. When I was in the government, I carried two phones. One was a Blackberry provided by the government and for official business only. In order to make personal calls, I had to use my android phone. There were areas where I couldn’t take the android but there were also areas where I couldn’t take the BB.
Hillary’s problem was that she wanted to conduct official, often classified, business on her personal phone.

This should be a political no-brainer.
Every elected official should have private cell phones and private e-mail accounts for their personal communications, just like every elected official should have private bank accounts for their personal finances.
The problem is when they do like Hillary and run everything through their private accounts.
Funny how they fret over Trump’s fear of not being able to reach out - what a load.....
Like the NY Slimes would have the inside dope on this...
