The dems thought, and still seem to think, that they can cycle through an endless series of ethnic identity firsts and stay in power, because everyone will be willing to take their turn. The 2016 already proves that false. Each group in the coalition is going to be more like crabs trying to escape a bucket, with the crabs on the bottom pulling down the ones on top.
