A man with advanced prostate cancer is believed to be cured after doctors 'shocked' his tumour to death with huge amounts of testosterone.
The result has been described as 'unexpected' and 'exciting' because most prostate cancer therapies work by depriving tumours of testosterone, because cancer uses it as a fuel.

Basically, every 28 days the men receive a high dose of testosterone, while at the same time, they get a drug which stops testosterone being produced naturally in the testicles.
Any cancer which can be cured is exciting news.
Testosterone. Is there anything it can’t do?
It’s nature’s duct tape.
If the women don't find you handsome
they should at least find you randy.
multitask
Hahahahahahaha!
HA! Where’s the like button when you need one??? Thanks, that was a good one.
Randy....handy.....is there a diff?
Love it.... no need for men to be rendered eunuchs to beat prostate cancer.
I have prostrate cancer, so I find this very exciting news.
I would NEVER allow myself to be rendered a eunuch.
ROTFLMAO!
Here’s how I read this story.
A cancer cell is like a young man raised without responsibilities. It reproduces, but never grows up enough to start doing anything useful.
So traditionally, the cops see the young men and say “they’re causing a lot of trouble because they’re drinking booze all time. Let’s hid the booze.” That works for a while, but being young men, they eventually find the booze or substitute some narcotic of choice.
Then one smart cop says “I know. Let’s hide the booze most of the time. But one day a month, we’ll leave it everywhere. The young men will drink like crazy and hopefully go poison themselves or have a fatal accident.”
My prayers for you. If by posting this article I have given hope to some, I give thanks to Jesus.
Lots of duct tape aficionados on this thread I see. ;-)
Testosterone has the same effect on Democrats.
Thank you so very much.
Lots of Testosterone is the mark of an Alpha Male, lots of that going around lately.
My husbandad had surgery to remove prostate cancer 5 years ago.
Good luck!
I had my Gleason 7 prostate adenocarcinoma removed 3 years ago with DaVinci robot assisted surgery. I left Alaska and went to Arlington, TX to one of the best surgeons in the country. My advice is get it removed asap by an very experienced urologist who specializes in robot assisted prostatectomy. My results were excellent and the tumor was completely removed. Procrastination is not your friend .
