Equal pay and childcare were Trump issues all along.
Trump has always tried to pay women as well that do the same job as men. His pay gap between men and women is far closer than it was for Hillary and her staff and the Clinton Foundation.
Childcare was an issue during the election. It has to be addressed. And it may have helped Trump win in a few states like PA, WI, and MI.

My thoughts on this are: so what? Ivanka is free to meet with whoever she wants. She’s not president. Her Dad is. If folks think Trump is going to cave on the lie about Climate Change just because Ivanka believes in it I got some really cheap toll bridges for sale.
Folks who want to go crazy over nothing, will. The last couple of weeks prove it.
At first glance I agree. But the more I think about "The Art of War", these forays into the liberal/RINO/eGOP worlds make sense. Trump needs spies and relationships with the enemy in order to destroy them (or preferably bring them to his side and build a coalition).
If you want this change to last long term and change the paradigm or swing the pendulum the changes have to go real deep into enemy territory (physically and ideologically). The change has to be deep enough so that the next smooth talkin' Mac Daddy that comes through can't undo everything you've accomplished.
