We would wish but no one has listened to or heard from Al Gore in years. She is reaching out to him not him to her. This among other things has me saddened, bothered and a little pissed.
I won’t give this a seconds thought. Trump campaigned on Global Warming being a Chinese hoax. I think he’s pulling a Mitt Romney on Al Gore. It’s only for show.
Come on....think out of the box. Trump is coopting everyone pf them.
I’m not getting terribly exited over this until I find out the substantive details of an actual meeting.
If this is true at all, the meeting could go in several directions or have several purposes. Trump is different, he accomplishes his agendas much different than what is politically expected. This is not a complaint.
A meeting this in no way is a direct indication of a turn around or a sell out.
I think we need to just stop hyperventilating, wait & see.
She certainly is so far as she wants to make “equal pay” (as if we haven’t parity now) and government-funded childcare even for the wealthy and now “climate change” her “issues”.
Nothing other than the usual liberal stuff there. Sure, she may be for lower taxes for her bracket, or whatever, to support her family business. But that’s not what she’s focusing on—and she does, indeed, sound like an idiot spouting the usual liberal Manhattan positions.

If she is not part of the administration then she doesn’t need a signature issue. If she is part of the administration then she can’t have anything to do with the family business. She can’t do both.
I can understand your point of view. And it would be best for Ivanka to decide between business and government so there are no conflicts.
Maybe we mistake the poise for something else.
Poise is universal for debutantes, mindless actresses, and the like here in NYC. What would have been newsworthy would be if she weren’t such.
I am not liking this at all. I get that Gore isn’t meeting with Trump, but Ivanka is very influential. Sounds to me like she’s bought the GW BS from her liberal friends in Manhattan.
Or, it could be a complete head fake - we don’t know, but this type of thing has happened before. Trump is on record as saying that GW/”Climate Change” is a scam. He’s not stupid - and neither is Ivanka, not by a long shot. I’m right now thinking that this is a way to stop some of the project-destroying criticism (projects like pipelines, drilling and mining - all keys to making us more prosperous) before it gets going too much.
Time will tell.

If President Elect Trump was an environmentalist, then he would not be pushing for Oil and Coal industry growth. Moreover, he would be for the carbon tax and not against it. The Globalist/Establishment want us to abandon President-Elect Trump in order to make it harder for him to operate. The worse thing you can do is get upset and abandon him at this point.
