The Trump Effect - confidence, optimism. Under Obama the U.S. was beginning to get that “sad socialist” feel to it.

I asked my Dad if things now are worse than in the 70s. He said, "Yes, by far. Because in the 70s people were just having a crisis of confidence. They didn't actively *hate* America."

The new administration has a lot to do. Getting rid of a few million illegals - a massive drain on the US in a multitude of ways - is a good start. Fixes a problem, and gets rid of people who hate our country.

Dumping all of this global warming nonsense, while necessary and also satisfying, IMO won't change much in the long run. Same people will be around, watching and waiting for the *next* global "crisis" that they can use for a massive power grab, and they'll be assisted by the same useful idiots.

I predict it will be something "fresh water" based.
