Democratic leaders in both houses of Congress are calling for a '9/11 Commission'-type panel to investigate Russian involvement, if any, in the 2016 presidential election, Catherine Herridge reported.
Senator Charles Schumer of New York and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) have recommended meetings take place in the wake of a CIA report of possible Russian meddling in the election.
"Even if Hillary Clinton had won, it's still important for us to have a... nonpartisan, bipartisan commission to review it," Pelosi said earlier Tuesday.
However, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and CIA Director John Brennan are not on the same page when it comes to the possible existence of Russian involvement.
Clapper testified before Congress that the existence of a Russian link to hacked DNC and Clinton email releases by WikiLeaks is tenuous.
Both the FBI and CIA have until the end of the week to brief Congress on the situation.

Goodness, when the left decides on a self-serving fake news story, they will stop at nothing to promote it.
I remember several years ago when a couple of Democrat operatives illegally tapped into Newt’s phone conversation, the news media tried to make a big controversy about the fact that he was discussing how to comply with the law. But now that the Democrats’ own emails showed them colluding in several ways with the fake news media and conspiring to commit violence at Trump rallies to hand the election to Hillary, they are tossing around this red herring about supposed Russian hacking.
Its the seriousness of the charges.
The truth has nothing to do with it.
This is all a setup by the dems and msm to hound President Trump during the next four years with a “cover-up” of this fake hack because he will be in charge of the CIA, FBI, etc....
Something about those that the gods would destroy first drive them mad.

The 911 Commission presented a report of which 28 pages were redacted and kept secret from the public for almost 15 years. Those 28 pages showed involvement by Saudia Arabia. The same Saudia Arabia that funded a large chunk of Hillary's campaign. The same Saudia Arabia that continues to fund the MSM.

It happened twice, once six years ago and once last year. For one “hack” it was for a book I wrote and posted online. For the other, well I don’t know why.
But when I checked my stats both times I was many thousands of hits of users IN RUSSIA!
Now I don’t know why the Russians were all in my Blog. I do write about politics I suppose but hardly anything earth shaking.
Point is, the Russians are all the hell over the Internet because it’s what they do. Oh, and the Russian stat wave to my Blog was not any kind of “hack” but it was just so strange that all on one day I got a boatload of people from Russia reading my Blog.
I have no idea why.
And lookit, just cause the acne faced teenager’s name is Boris doesn’t mean he know Vladimir Putin.
Ask anybody who has a Blog....an onslaught of Russians is not all that odd. It’s like they all get some kindof scoop and over-run the Internet.
TheDems are using this sort of strange Russian involvement as if Putin himself were sitting shirtless on his horse and hacking web sites.
They act as if we were born at night....LAST NIGHT.
A more important commission would examine the impact of illegals and dead people voting had on the election.
I think Hillary has finally managed to really hit the reset button with Russia. All the way back to the cold war era.
I actually agree with this. We should have the Democrats concentrate on these hearings while Trump busies himself putting together his first 100 day agenda.
Democrats are looking like fools chasing this crap. They will keep losing for the foreseeable future.
The Republican Party has finally grown much more intelligent.
We will now perform the task of revising history, in favor of the Republican Party.
By all means , investigate the $hit out of it.We need an official report showing how literally crapulent the Dems were.
