Snopes, which will now have the power to declare what news is or is not legitimate on the world’s largest online platform, almost exclusively employs leftists.
Facebook announced Thursday that mythbusting website Snopes will be one of a few fact-checking organizations allowed to label stories as “fake news.”
Almost all of the writers churning out fact checks for Snopes have a liberal background, and many of them have expressed contempt for Republican voters. The Daily Caller could not identify a single Snopes fact-checker who comes from a conservative background. Snopes did not respond to a list of questions from TheDC regarding the site’s ideological leaning.
At least two of the site’s fact-checkers joined Snopes after writing for Raw Story, a far-left publication that describes itself as a “progressive news site that focuses on stories often ignored in the mainstream media.” Several others have demonstrated liberal partisanship.

Nope. Too many people use it as their source of re”lie”able news and info. You know like references to huffpost, slate and nyt.

I always post that pic when liberals cite snopes. I feel sorry for the cat. The cat probably provides the reasonable voice of dissent with their fact checking butis always outvoted.
Anyone still on Facebook might as well start sending monthly contributions to the DNC. I cannot understand the infatuation of telling everyone what they are doing when and wanting to know that Joe Blow had left over meatloaf for dinner. I guess peoples lives are pretty pathetic.
Dear Mr. Zuckerberg, on January 20, 2017, you may want to add fact checkers that work for more conservative organizations. That is unless you want to be hauled in front of Congress explaining why the “fact checkers” are all politically leaning Left....

Facebook is ad-driven. I don’t think all advertisers are allergic to right-wing material; some would welcome it.
An option for users of Facebook to select whether they want to see left wing, right wing, or all might be a marketing advantage. But they are going to have to choose between prospering and “lefty” principles. The good news is that this will out their “leftiness.”
A dialogue with lefties about just where does “diversity” belong, would be a quite interesting dialogue.
If news is just opinion pieces, then treat it like that all the way, and fairly for people of all different opinions. They all should be equally good prospects for advertising of products, and this advertising could even be focused. Sell the organic, ooh la la stuff to the lefties. Sell tools and survival equipment to the righties. Walk away with money that doesn’t care about the politics of whom it came from. Win-win, no? Sounds like Facebook wants to dive into a lose-lose.
