One of the websites Facebook is to use to arbitrate on 'fake news' is involved in a bitter legal dispute between its co-founders, with its CEO accused of using company money for prostitutes.
Snopes.com will be part of a panel used by Facebook to decide whether stories which users complain about as potentially 'fake' should be considered 'disputed'.
But the website's own troubles and the intriguing choice of who carries out its 'fact checks' are revealed by DailyMail.com, as one of its main contributors is disclosed to be a former sex-blogger who called herself 'Vice Vixen'.
Snopes.com will benefit from Facebook's decision to allow users to report items in their newsfeed which they believe to be 'fake'.

No one believes Snopes, so that is a very poor choice for “fact checker. “ unless you’re a Liberal Democrat.

Think it is fake news? Search David Seaman, an ex Huffington Post reporter who was fired. Before this story broke Comet Pizza, an ostensibly “kid friendly” place had a poster in the men’s room that had the tag line “Shut up and F**k.” Now it has been removed.

for many many years I read 2 newspapers each morning.
But for the past 20 year I have not subscribed to any newspaper. There is no news to be found there. It is also true with Network TV.

No I saw the video of Denzel. If he quoted someone else ok. I just referred to the video I saw. It wasn’t fake news, he didn’t make a claim of ownership just made a statement on the issue to a presstitute asking.

I just surf the assorted sources from the left, right, foreign and domestic sources and dissect it as best possible then go to the farmers table at our local diner for breakfast to hear the opinions of folks I know aren’t on facebook......:o)
