Never in the last half century has the American left believed the Soviet Union or Russia capable of a single nefarious act against the United States or the West. President Obama, and even some Republicans in Congress, have given credence to the notion that Vladimir Putin directed his intelligence services to hack into the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton's top aides and then directly or indirectly pass them on to Wikileaks. By so doing, we are led to believe, this has brought Donald Trump the presidency. It is of little consequence that few, if any, of the hundreds of thousands of citizens who attended Trump rallies, or the millions who voted for him, ever saw what Wikileaks published. Clearly, we are told by the CIA, this had to be the work of the Russians.

We are being asked now to believe that the Russians wished to influence a U.S. presidential election. This master stroke of statecraft by Putin was designed, however, to bring to power a man, Donald J. Trump, who has pledged to rebuild the United States militarily and economically. Trump has detailed his intent to build a national missile defense, modernize our strategic arsenal to match that of Russia and China, ensure our ability to dominate the high seas with an expanded and more technologically advanced navy, guarantee our ability to project power with an improved air force, and have an intelligence and cyber capability second to none. How any of this is in the Russian strategic interest is yet to be explained. . .

The DNC/MSM/Hillary crew want us to KILL THE MESSENGER (Russia) and ignore the MESSAGE.
Best response to the claim that Russia did this is to say, “does it matter who exposed the criminal activity?”.
Merry Christmas.
Blaming and threatening the Russians was a big turn from “give peace a chance.”
Merry Christmas to you and loved ones.
The task of stemming Russian disinformation like the Kremlin weaponized in our election will soon fall to Republicans, who on January 20 will control the White House and both houses of Congress. Perhaps Kremlin agitprop aimed at Washington will wane, given Donald Trumps excessively chummy relationship with Moscow, but Republicans now gloating about the pain inflicted on Democrats by Putin ought to ponder what would happen if the Russians exposed their emails toobecause Moscow surely has them.

Hillary just can’t get over the fact that she is not well liked and her only asset is that she brings in a lot of money for the party.
I’m so sick of the hidden manipulation directed at the American public that I say bring it on, lay it bare, smoke them all out. I don’t give a crap what political party they belong to. And, just as I came around to view Snowden and Assange as doing us a favor whether they meant to or not, I’ll view the Russians similarly. Drain the swamp. We’ve had enough.
As ye hack, so shall ye be hacked.
I think the money is going to drop off now.
Do not trust any info in wikileaks, it might be true or it might be doctored.
this is bigger than Hillary.
On the flip side - better to have a strong but rational man in charge than a really bats-hit crazy nutcase like Hillary...
My understanding is WikiLeaks has an absolutely perfect track record.
It’s surprising Israel isn’t ever mentioned as a suspect. They had the bigger motive and are smart enough to make it look like the Russians did it.
Just imagine the things that the RNC biggies said about Trump in their emails. Would particularly like to see Linda’s and McCain’s correspondence. As for Ryan, I suspect there would be enough there to have him removed as speaker.
But we should trust you and your assertions?
As papertyger pointed out, so far Wikileaks record for accuracy and truthfulness is pretty good, far better than any of our so-called government or MSM sources. In fact, there has not been one single bit of real evidence presented that the Russians "hacked" anything.
It's ALL shadowy anonymous sources, backed up solely by more assertions from the usual suspects, e.g. political hacks like Lindsey Graham or Dianne Feinstein, that THEY have seen the evidence. There is nothing "on the record" - no names, no documents. Not. Good. Enough. They, the government, the MSM, the CIA et al. have long since forfeited any presumption of credibility. It's time for them to put up or shut up.
When it is “released” by Wikipedia next year, the Russians can change the text and would anyone believe if the person that sent the original email say that the email is redacted?
Why even waste a minute of your time responding to the lying left? All they’re trying to do is progress their agenda with lies and disinformation. Make them the subject of the discussion, not their lies.
