You should see them in California. The Mexicans here turn them into shrines, complete with the tall Mexican prayer candles.

You should see what they do to the Catholic cemeteries at Christmas and Easter. It's appalling. I go to place flowers on parents' graves next to the San Fernando Mission and there are freeking Christmas trees with flashing lights and plots fenced in covered with tinsel and everything imaginable. It's pagan and the Dioceses that run those cemeteries need to put their foot and set some standards.

Too bad. San Fernando mission is beautiful. Granddaughter and I did a few days of visiting missions in the Ventura, Santa Barbara area and we ventured on over to San Fernando.

Over the years I’ve driven by our local cemetery at night. There were one or two battery powered candles in it.
A few days ago I again went through at night and the cemetery had dozens more along with flashing ones. Can strobe lights and electric arc beams be far behind?
