Police are investigating after a man was fatally stabbed inside a Target store on Whipple Road in Hayward on Christmas Eve.
The family said the victim and his girlfriend were shopping for one last present with his two kids.
The family said they were told by a witness that an altercation inside the store took place between Tyrone Griffin, 36, and two men who were allegedly playing vulgar music loudly on their cellphones in the toy section of the store while Griffin was shopping with his 4-year-old son. When Griffin confronted them about the music, a fight broke out and he was stabbed.
Griffin was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.
"Basically Tyrone was a real good father. Every time you see him if he wasn't at work, he was with his children," Griffin's mother Yolanda Lindsey said.
Two Hayward residents were arrested in connection to the stabbing. The men are in their 20's and were booked into the Hayward jail for homicide.
Griffin leaves behind a 4 year old and 5-year-old child.
Griffin's mother Lindsey said she is looking for help to pay for his funeral.

So sad. The worst part is that I bet the store security and other store personnel let these two thugs walk around playing the vulgar music loudly without saying anything. If the store security would have confronted them or called the police, this man would be alive.
Avoid riots, stabbings, and sales tax!
Nearly all online retailers are charging sales tax to NC and SC now (can do either address) unfortunately at this point so I can't avoid it. I have less of an issue with sales tax than income at any rate.

all I can think of is that guys four year old having to witness his or hers fathers death and being reminded of it every time they go shopping at Christmas. there is not a hole that is deep or dark enough to toss these two guys into.
Too bad their convictions will come too late for Obama to commute their sentences.

Apparently NAACP has gone around to every media outlet and told them it is racist to mention the race of the perp.

Target creates an environment of sexual and physical chaos in their stores. THIS GUY’S FAMILY SHOULD SUE. The rest of us should never spend a dime in a Target. They are anti American and anti Christian.
Not sure what state this happened in. Hopefully they get a “hanging judge”.

When was the last time you heard of white gangs of kids doing ANYTHING.
I have always thought it was comical in the movie, While You Were Sleeping” that the guy at the train station is attacked by a bunch of white kids. Talk about PC.
This happened in the SF Bay Area so the judge will probably end up being another liberal squish.

Per FBI uniform statistics, ~1% of the population (AA males between 15 and 25 years old) commits between ~30 to ~50% of violent crime depending on the metric. LBJ’s “Great Society” and race baiting/blaming, coupled with the decimation of the nuclear family (>80% of AA kids are born out of wedlock) is effectively largely destroying a generation (or two or three) of blacks from succeeding. I don’t know what the answer is to the problem, but I don’t think its racist to point out valid statistics.
