While Barber was head of the North Carolina NAACP, the organization’s website carried a long list of (false) and outrageously inaccurate accusations against the wrongly-accused Duke lacrosse players;
the same NAACP reversed its usual course and for the first time fought against a change of venue for a racially-charged case, demanded a racial quota for the jury,
sought a gag order (to prevent the defense from countering the lies),
and Barber personally continued to defame the players after the case was over.
You are correct sir. I think Matt 15:8 applies here. "This people honoreth me with their lips; But their heart is far from me."
I wish they would buy a clue, but the day is fast approaching, when a mighty angel will quite litterally grab hold of them and force them to their knees, against their will, and they WILL confess that He is Lord, even if they don't wish to acknowledge the fact.
The Revrunds will lecture about the glories of the most holy government but the only time they EVER mention the bible is “turn the other cheek” to justify bashing conservatives or “My brother’s keeper” to justify massive government power.
