Remember When Jeff Sessions and John Lewis linked arms at Edmund Pettus Bridge?

It appears Lewis shared an emotional moment with Sessions at the 50th Anniversary of "Bloody Sunday" in Selma. If Lewis actually believed the things the said about Sessions then why would have appeared with Sessions linked arm and arm with him in the front row like that at such an emotional and iconic gathering, marking a major historical event in the Civil Rights movement? Obviously he didn't, and it is just messed up that for purely partisan political reasons, he would try to not only derail his nomination but destroy him as a person.

Nothing new, to be sure, but we can’t become subdued to it and not point out the falsity of the narratives they push...there are people on the fence just observing and we must counter with the truth.

Well then why don't Session or his defenders point things like this out? I don't see any of Senator Sessions' defenders who appear on the mainstream media pointing out this rank hypocrisy.

I looked at the text and saw that the passage he’d read out loud had been immediately followed by two other sentences: “But the libertarian argument overlooks the place of the Supreme Court in a scheme of separation of powers. One does not strengthen self-government and the rule of law by having the non-democratic branch of the government make policy.” The point I’d been making was the opposite of the one that Senator Biden claimed I had made.

If FactCheck, WashPoo, FascistBook and the rest were HONEST media sources, they would point out that Lewis’ claims last week were FakeNews and use this video as evidence that it was a sham of a hearing.
