The reason to care is that it makes us look bad not to deal in reality. At first glance i thought the gigapixel image destroyed the media. However when I really studied the gigapixel it is perfectly clear it is a very good fit with the rear view from the Washington monument.
We need to be better than this and Trumps team made a big mistake here.

We should all take a breath and stop playing the game on the other guy’s field. Why do we want to argue minutia? There are myriad reasons why the crowd MIGHT have been smaller in 2017 vs. 2013.
- The weather this year was bad. Who wants to stand in the rain for 5 hours?;
- DC is like the home stadium for the Redskins - the city voted 90%+ for Obama and Hillary. Heck, the Dems could have filled the mall with supporters that could WALK to the event!;
- Republicans were too busy working to attend;
But, you’re right, “who cares?”!! Regardless of crowd size, Trump won and is President. Anything else is small-ball, and we really shouldn’t indulge the left in their pettiness.
