In one of the first pro-gun actions of his administration, President Donald Trump is expected to shortly move to revoke Barack Obamas illegal actions to effectively outlaw gun collecting.
Obama’s anti-gun “executive action” was announced on January 6, 2016 – in the wake of Obama’s unsuccessful attempt to scapegoat law-abiding gun owners for the actions of a Muslim terrorist in San Bernardino.
Obama’s action was implemented as a “clarification” because he knew that his lawless moves could never pass muster under the rule-making procedures of the Administrative Procedures Act.

Gun Owners of America is optimistic that this is only the first in a series of Trump actions overturning illegal Obama actions.
• Removing the U.S. from the Anti-Gun UN Arms Trade Treaty.; • Repealing bullet and gun import bans going from Obama back to George H. W. Bush’s semi-auto import ban; • Repealing the suspension of health privacy laws with respect to gun owners; • Repealing executive actions encouraging doctors to inquire about gun ownership and to enter this information into a federal health database; • Restoring gun rights for 257,000 law-abiding veterans; • Repealing Obama’s efforts to strip Social Security recipients of their guns, merely because a guardian processes their checks.

I hope this Admin can take the actions to prevent liberal states like NJ to enact their own restrictive gun laws that are contradictory to the 2nd Amendment.
From what I recall how the 10th Amendment works, if it is NOT stated in the Constitution, it is a state’s right matter?
But IF IT IS, it’s the law of the land??
Now push through a law in congress that a CCL from any state is valid in any other state or municipality. Just like your driver’s license!
I can drive in any state on my Ohio Driver’s License, but can not carry in many other states even though I have a valid license to do so in Ohio.
Driving is not a Constitutional Right. The right to bear arms most certainly is.

Trump probably can’t right now, but once the supreme court & federal courts become more & more in our favor then hopefully many of these restrictive gun laws will be shot down
For pretty much the first time in my life I am jealous - of all the lucky souls who get to work in, and support, the Trump administration.

If somebody can show me the anti-gun executive orders Obama issued, I’ll believe this is something more than a fund-raising letter on the GOA’s part. I’m not a Obama supporter but I’m an FFL and I can read. When I looked at the Obama White House web site I never saw that he actually issued any executive orders about gun collecting or gun sales. His “executive action” consisted of a press conference. Nothing more.
If only he could erase that idiotic ban on post ‘86 machine guns Reagan signed. A Thompson full auto costs, what, $200 to make? But we’re relegated to buying relics for ten times that amount.
