It was in February 2010, on Interstate 35 in Wyoming, Minn., according to Wikipedia, that the billboards first began to appear: MISS ME YET? ran the message over a picture of George W. Bush. Kind of, say todays Democrats.

Decent men don’t REDUCE interior and border enforcement AFTER an attack like 9/11.
He refused to enforce immigration laws and locked up Border Patrol for doing their job.
Unless I missed something. President Bush’s lack of support for President Trump during the election was very disappointing and spoke volumes.
Bush lost his Republican base once he spent his political capital on the criminal immigrants.
Fifty plus years ago the country was observing the Civil War Centenary, and the premise seemed to be that there were decent people on both of the two sides that were trying to kill each other. Today, Catholics and Protestants are observing the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in the same spirit.
If we can't admit that George W. Bush, (who most of us voted for at least once) was a personally decent man what does that say for us? I'm not that crazy about the guy (or his little brother) but can concede that he did have some virtues.
Maybe the main reason why people are so quick to assume that everybody we have a disagreement with is evil or corrupt is to give us license to behave in that way ourselves. I don't love the guy, but the policies that I disagreed with didn't necessarily make Bush evil or corrupt.
Given time, the various components of a mixture of liquids shall settle out in a sort of stratification based on their physical properties (density, solubility, even temperature gradients) and find their own level. Some layers simply will not mix with others, and there is a distinct boundary layer at that point. Other layers have varying degrees of miscibility (check your General Chemistry course for the definition), and separate or combine to a known degree.
George W. Bush could not bring himself to wholeheartedly embrace classic conservative theory, and he had no concept of libertarian principles.
I think G W Bush is the new Gerald Ford.
Lol,...............did you leave anything out!
Yep. Exactly. That’s not a badge I’d wear except anything but shame.
No wonder he was about as popular as a child molester when he left office.
Nice guy not a very good president as he sold the American public down the socialist trail some. I can’t forgive that.
You guys summed it up for me.
Yep, that’s how we got the enemy agent BamBam, unfortunately.
You need buy more vowels.
Boy, a lot of people on here are certainly good at regurgitating the DNC talking points of old. A lot of these arguments are literally word for word what we spent debunking all of those years ago and would even get people banned or suspended for spouting. “Ignored the Rice memo that warned of 911” - seriously, how ridiculous.
It was quite stable when he left office until Obama just abandoned the place.
Standard tactic of the left - when the person whom you attacked NON-STOP and VICIOUSLY is out of power, look back with nostalgia and talk about how nice he was.
Makes you, the leftist, look more human and less hateful.
(of course the term “you” here, means the leftist, not C19fan!)
It certainly would have been harder. But, what were the other choices? Al Gore, who has demonstrated his insanity, and John F'n Kerry, who would have been a disaster also.
A couple of generations ago, I remember hearing how fortunate the USA had been, in that when a crisis occurred, great leaders arose. It was part of our frontier heritage, and part of our exceptionalism.
There were no great leaders to be had after Reagan. Perhaps, until now. It was all bad choices in the GWB years.
Bush was a decent man, but represented the RINO’s, and somehow seemed to think that he could get along with a Democrat Party that had long ago seized by a scorched-earth leftist ideology.
