How EXACTLY been conclusively shown that MI6 commissioned this person for anything? My understanding is that if anything, this person was a former-something with connection to MI6.
If he was ‘commissioned’ by MI6, why then did he reportedly hand the file off to a McCain surrogate who flew to the UK to retrieve the file.
Words mean things people
No one saying that he was commissioned by MI6. This badly written article left out the word “former” in describing Steele.
If it was indeed “commissioned” it is more likely it was that ex MI6 guy that was the proximal source of the Garbage Report and has since gone to ground.
